The Texas State Quarters were the 28th coin designs issued in the 50 State Quarters Program.
Obverse: Motif of George Washington. It has the inscriptions, United States of America, In God We Trust, Liberty, and Quarter Dollar.
Reverse: Has two ropes on the sides of the design and an outline of the state of Texas towards the middle. The map of Texas also has a large lone star overlapped in the design. It has the inscriptions, Texas 1845, The Lone Star State, 2004, and E Pluribus Unum.
