The 2003-P and D Missouri circulation strike Quarters were officially released on August 04, 2003. This was the twenty fourth coin issued in the State Quarter program.
The coins were struck in the hundreds of millions so they're easily obtainable even in circulation. Only examples in high grade of MS65 and higher are tougher to find. However, they can be pulled from original bags or rolls. In MS66 condition there are still thousands available and carry a small premium. In MS67 condition they are more difficult to find and these are probably the best coins that were pulled from bags and rolls. In MS68 condition it is really scarce, less than a dozen have been found with none existing in any higher grade.
