The 2003-P First Flight Commemorative Silver Dollar was issued to celebrate the Wright Brothers first successful flight on a controllable airplane on December 17, 1903.
Obverse: The obverse features Oriville and Wilbur Wright next to each other. The obverse has the inscriptions, "Liberty, In God We Trust, 1903, 2003, Oriville & Wilbur Wright."
Reverse: The reverse of the coin shows an airplane in flight. The reverse has the inscriptions, "One Dollar, E Pluribus Unum, United States of America."
