The 2002-W West Point Commemorative Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate the founding of the West Point Military which was signed into law on March 16, 1802 by President Thomas Jefferson.
Obverse: The obverse features 5 cadet guards in front of the Academy's Washington Hall and Cadet Chapel. The obverse has the inscriptions, "1802, Liberty, 2002 and "In God We Trust."
Reverse: The reverse shows a helmet and sword or the West point Bicentennial logo. The reverse has the inscriptions, "1802 West point, United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, One Dollar and Bicentennial.
