2002 1C, RD MS68RD Certification #71459346, PCGS #3172
Owner's Comments
A very clean coin, with absolutely a perfect reverse. There is a slight irregularity on the field, alone the rim in the field, under TRUST. A unnoticeable fly speck is under the V in VDB. Details on the hair can be seen, instead of a portion of hair that sometimes is minted flat. Purchased at 3.928 tomes the value. Maybe one day, the 8 will turn me a profit.

The 2002-P Lincoln Cent is easily obtainable as the U.S. Mint struck over 3.2 billion examples. Coins grading MS67 or lower are fairly easy to find. In MS68 condition they are scarce but enough examples exist in this grade to keep prices reasonable. Anything grading higher than MS69 is rare and worth a huge premium over MS69 coins.
