2001-D 25C North Carolina MS68 Certification #72668348, PCGS #5969
Expert Comments
Jaime Hernandez
The Denver Mint struck over 427 million 2001-D North Carolina Quarters. Examples up to MS67 can easily be obtained. Only in MS68 condition have they proved to be scarce. Anything grading higher is considered rare and should be graded, as it would represent one of the finest examples known for this issue.
