2000 $1 Millennium Set MS69 Certification #44733002, PCGS #9969
Expert Comments
Jaime Hernandez
In the year 2000, the U.S Mint issued a special United States Millennium Coin and Currency Set. The sets contained a Silver Eagle, a Sacagawea Dollar and a $1 currency note. The Sacagawea Dollars in the set had a different finish than circulation strike coins. In order to receive the Millennium Set phrase on the PCGS holder, collectors had to submit their coins in the original sealed Millennium Coinage and Currency Set.
