The 1997-P Kennedy Half Dollar is considered a common date. it's mintage is over 20 million. While numerous other dates in the series have mintages under 3 million. Therefore, obtaining a 1997-P Kennedy Half Dollar should be relatively easy. Probably not in circulation since a lot of Kennedy Half Dollars don't seem to circulate compared to other denominations. However, once can easily be purchased in Uncirculated condition inexpensively from dealers or online. Very high Mint State examples such as in MS67 or higher, expect to pay a significant premium.
