It struck a clad Half Dollar, Silver Dollar and finally a $5 god commemorative in both Mint State and Proof formats for each denomination.

Obverse: The obverse of the coin features a soldier giving water to one of his fellow soldiers. The obverse has the inscriptions, Liberty, In God We Trust and 1995.

Reverse: The reverse of the coin features the Gettysburg landscape along with a quote made by a soldier by the name of Joshua Chamberlin. His quote states, In Great Dees Something Abides. On Great Fields Something Stays. Forms Change and Pass. Bodies Disappear. But Spirits Linger To Consecrate Ground For the VisionPlace of Souls. The reverse also has the inscriptions, United States of America, E Pluribus Unum, and One Dollar.
