The 1994-W Prisoner of Was Commemorative Silver Dollar was struck to commemorate National Prisoner of War Museum located in Andersonville, Georgia.
Obverse: The obverse has a beautiful bald eagle in flight with a broken chain around its' leg indicating, breaking its' chain of bondage. The reverse also has a barbed wire encircled around the inside of the coins rim and the words, Liberty, Freedom, In God We Trust and 1994."
Reverse: The reverse shows the Prisoner of War Museum located in Andersonville, Georgia. It also has the inscriptions, E plruribus Unum, United States of America, National Prisoner of War Museum."
