The 1994-D Washington Quarter is one of the scarcer coins in MS66 condition and higher. It's hard to imagine that out of over 880 million quarters struck for this issue, there are only about 100 known examples in MS66 condition and very few finer. In MS67 grade less than a dozen are known, making it a very tough issue in the Clad Washington Quarter series.
