The 1992-P Olympic Silver Dollars were struck to commemorate the Olympic Games held in Spain and France. This is the first time the U.S. Mint has produced a commemorative coin with edge lettering.

Obverse: Shows a baseball pitcher throwing a ball. It has the inscriptions, Liberty, USA, In God We Trust and 1992.

Reverse: The reverse shows a Union Shield in towards the center of the design, with a branch to each side. Above the seal is the Olympic logo indicating USA. The reverse has the inscriptions, United States of America, USA, and One Dollar with a banner towards the bottom indicating "E Pluribus Unum."
