The 1991-D Korean Commemorative Dollar was issued to commemorate the 38th Anniversary of the Korean War and to honor the men and woman that served the Korean War.
Obverse: The obverse shows a soldier holding a rifle running up a hill. Above him are two aircrafts. The obverse has the inscriptions, "Thirty Eight Anniversary Commemorative, Korea, In God We Trust, 1953 1951" and the word "Liberty."
Reverse: The reverse of the coin features a map of Korea divided by the North and the South. The South part of the map also has a yin and yang. The reverse design also features a large eagles head on overlooking the Korean map.
