1988 $5 Gold Eagle MS70 Certification #49021857, PCGS #9818

This is the lowest $5 Uncirculated Gold Eagle in the whole series. Compare its 159,500 mintage to that of the $5 1999 Uncirculated Gold Eagle with a mintage of 2,750,338.
The $5 1998 Uncirculated gold eagle usually trades a slightly higher premium than most dates due its lower mintage. However, most coins come really nice and the majority of them would probably grade MS69.
