Over half a million 1980-D Jefferson Nickels were struck, therefore making it very common. However, with the Full Steps designation this issue is very scarce in MS65 Full Steps and higher. In MS66 Full Steps it is really scarce with less than 100 examples known. Only time will tell if examples higher than MS66 Full Steps will surface.
