The 1971-S Proof Jefferson Nickel is a common date. Most proof Jefferson Nickels from the 1960's to 1980's have mintages in the 3 million range, more or less. It is tough to find very nice examples with Deep Cameo surfaces from searched rolls or proof sets, especially in Grade PR69 DC.  Therefore, expect to pay a significant premium in PR69DC. Any other condition below PR69 Deep Cameo they are easily affordable, that just about anyone can buy a certified example.
