The 1971-S Peg Leg Dollar is a very popular variety amongst Eisenhower Dollar collectors. This variety is referred to Peg Leg due to the missing serifs on the left base of the letter R in the word Liberty. The variety is fairly prominent to the naked eye and is a variety worth looking for since it commands a premium even in low uncirculated grades.
