The 1966 Nickel is a common coin in all grades, including Gem Mint State. Full Step examples are extremely rare, and are reflective of the generally poor strike for Nickels of this year. The finest 1966 Nickels certified by PCGS are limited to MS66, where over three dozen examples appear.
