The 1960 Proof Jefferson Nickel is very common in most grades up to about PR67 Deep Cameo. Although examples in Deep Cameo condition are much scarcer than non Deep Cameo or Cameo examples, they can still be found or purchased inexpensively in PR67 Deep Cameo condition or lower. This issue is considered scarce in PR68 condition or higher, whether it displays non Cameo, Cameo or Deep Cameo characteristics. In PR69 condition it is very scarce, especially in Cameo condition, and in PR69 Deep Cameo condition it is almost unheard of, with less than a dozen examples known and with none being graded in better condition.
