The 1959 Proof Franklin Half Dollar is one of the more common dates from the 1950's, for the Franklin Half Dollar series. However, it is scarcer than all the dates that were struck in the 1960's.
This date came really well struck and many examples were conserved in really nice quality. There are several examples that exist even up to PR69 condition. However, with Cameo surfaces they are much scarcer. With Deep Cameo surfaces they are very scarce in any condition.
