Expert Comments
Jaime Hernandez
The 1955 Proof Lincoln Cent is one of the more common Proofs in the Wheat Lincoln Cent series, as it has one of the higher mintages for the Proof Wheat design. In non Cameo or Deep Cameo condition it is common up to about PR67. Anything grading higher is much tougher to find. In Cameo condition it is easily obtainable up to about PR66 condition. In PR67 Cameo or higher it is much scarcer. In Deep Cameo condition it is scarce in any condition. Anything grading higher than PR67 Deep Cameo is considered rare.
