The 1954 Proof Jefferson Nickel has one of the lower mintages from the series. Enough examples were saved that it's easy to find them in nice condition. At PCGS we have graded hundreds of PR68 examples and even several in PR69 condition. So, collectors can choose to be picky if they are looking for a superb example.
