The 1945-S War-Time Nickel was the last of the semi-silver issues before the Mint resumed the use of Nickel in the Five Cent pieces. Gems are abundant, even in grades as high as MS-66. MS-67 examples become quite scarce in the non-Full Steps version. The finest 1945-S Nickel is a single MS-68.
