1939-D 10C, FB MS69FB Certification #39108260, PCGS #5019
Owner's Comments
This newly acquired Mercury Dime is tied for a top pop coin with 24 other 1939-D`s, With that said it is one of the few that are totally toned from rim to rim on both sides and only two others are CAC`d as this piece is. Many of the other 24 coins were stored in a cardboard card holder, type board with a cardboard strap across the coin on a diagonal which caused a blank area of color where the strap had gone across the coin. This piece could have been stored in an envelope but more likely was stored in an album for many years. Either way this beautiful little Gem is absolutely off the charts.....
