1933 1C, RB MS64RB Certification #43432107, PCGS #2628

The 1933 Lincoln Cent is a common coin that is available in large quantities in full red Mint State.  PCGS has certified just shy of three dozen examples in MS67RD.

This date normally comes well struck, except in cases where the dies have become worn and mushy.

According to a notice in the June 1934 issue of The Numismatist (p. 416), collectors could still purchase Uncirculated 1933 Cents for "the face value of the coins and an amount sufficient to cover the mail charrges by first-class mail."
