Owner's Comments
RAINBOW MANIA is happening on this coin! WOW, what a breathtakingly beautiful display of intense color in shades of baby blue, magenta and fiery orange! Intense luster is in no way diminished by the color. Needle sharp motifs. A small contact mark is noted on the bison’s foreleg when viewed with strong magnification. PCGS 188; NGC 40. Two coins sold last year. One for $1,560 in June 2019 and another for $1,320 in September 2019. You better be ready to battle the color loving collectors out there if you want to take this prize home! Legend lot 212 3/26/2020

The 1919 is similar in rarity to the other 1913 to 1917 Philadelphia Mint Buffalos in Mint State and Gem condiion. The 1918, and 1920 to 1924 issues are rarer. The 1919 is usually well struck and luster is more satiny than frosty.
