While not particularly rare in circulated grades, in mint state condition the 1918 is the rarest of the 1916 to 1920 Philadelphia Mercury dimes. Gems are usually well struck and luster on untoned examples can be excellent.The majority of mint state examples have fully struck crossbands.PCGS #
