1917-D 10C AU55 Certification #27428409, PCGS #4912

David Hall

In circulated grades, the 1917-D is a semi-key date. In mint state condition, the 1917-D is rare, and it is very rare in Gem condition. This is an important date in the Mercury dime series. Strike is not really a problem with this issue and examples with fully struck crossbands slightly outnumber non-full band coins. Luster can be frosty and excellent, and some mint state examples are  found with various degrees of toning.
