The 1911-S Dime is semi-scarce and has the lowest mintage of any 1911 Dime. In circulated grades, the 1911-S Dime commands a small premium over the normal type price, In Mint State, the price usually doubles depending on the grade. Nonetheless, the 1911-S Dime is readily available in grades ranging from MS62 all the way to MS66. MS67 examples are quite rare, though they make up the entirety of the PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census. The best example is a single PCGS MS67+ (formerly of the Simpson Collection).
As far as the strike quality goes, some examples of the 1911-D Dime show weakness on the lower right reverse and on the hair above Liberty's forehead.
