In 1911, sales of Proof Half Dollars dropped to 545 pieces -- the lowest level since 1877 (and even worse than the previous low in 1908).  To counter the declining sales, this date shows up as a Cameo Proof in one of the largest percentages in years.  Even better, there are some Deep Cameo examples known of this date.  The overall quality of 1911 Half Dollars is quite good, with ample quantities in all grades from PR64 to PR66.  This is one of only two dates in the entire serties that is known in PCGS PR69.
