Easily available in all grades and finishes, some with full luster. Almost every collector should be able to obtain a decent quality one of these “landmark” coins at a fairly inexpensive cost. The striking and sharpness of most of these coins are well struck with .

The 1909 V.D.B. Lincoln cent was highly hoarded and preserved in its' first year of issue. Consequently, many 1909 V.D.B. Lincoln cents survive in immaculate condition today.Varieties: There are at least two different doubled dies known for this year. Type 1 is the most prominent variety of the two. The doubling is strongest on the date and on the word, Liberty.
