1907-D Gold $5 Liberty MS67
{ PCGS-3 } (Sep'2007) - Finest Known 1/0 -
An interesting variety, the mintmark is punched far to the left of center, centered below the first talon in the eagle's claw left of the feather tip, and leaning sharply to the left as well.
This top-pop specimen is an amazing premium quality gem. Both sides have pristine surfaces with highly lustrous mint frost and rich yellow luster. Coined in the second year of Denver Mint production and representing excellent quality control for such a young facility.

The 1907-D is more common than the 1906-D and is one of the commonest dates in the entire series. Many choice and gem quality examples exist.PCGS #
