1906-D $5 N1 Certification #46113558, PCGS #8414
Expert Comments
David Akers (1975/88)
The 1906-D is the first Half Eagle from the Denver Mint. It is very common in all grades and is easily obtained in choice condition. The small premium given to this date and the 1907-D is solely because of the two coin's popularity and not their rarity. Both are very common although the 1906-D is more rare than the 1907-D.
