The 1905 Dime boasts a relatively large mintage, marking it as a "common" date, and it is, in fact, common in circulated grades. However, in Mint State, the population is on par with the 1905-S, which has a mintage of less than half that of the 1905 and which sells for twice the price. This indicates that the 1905 is an excellent value at current prices.

This date comes well struck. Luster on the 1905 Dime is usually of the frosty kind. Eye appeal at the high end is often spectacular, especially on some of the colorfully toned Gems. Superb (MS67) examples are rare but not unobtainable; they represent an excellent buying option for type collectors.
