The 1899 Proof Indian Cent is a common date for the series. Most examples that exist appear to be mostly in Red Brown condition and in grades PR64-PR65. Examples in Red condition are scarce in all grades overall. In PR66 they are very hard to find with a few examples or less appearing at auction every year. In PR67 they are very scarce in any color designation. Anything grading higher than PR67 would be considered rare.
