The 1899 Dime is one of the more common Proofs in the series.  A substantial percentage of the original mintage have been certified, indicating that the survival rate for this date is very high.  Most Proof 1899 Dimes are either brilliant or Cameo.  Deep Cameo Proofs are much more rare and they represent the ultimate in desirability for Proofs of this year.  The majority of the Proof population centers around the PR64 to PR66 grades, with occasional examples reaching the PR67 level.
