1895 25C AU55 Certification #31680116, PCGS #5610
Expert Comments
Ron Guth
The 1895 Barber Quarter is a relatively common coin, but still slightly scarcer than the middle-of-the-pack dates. Most of the certified examples fall into a grade range from MS62 to MS64. Gems are truly scarce, and anything better than MS65 is rare. The finest examples certified by PCGS include three at the MS67 level.
Like most Barber Quarters from the Philadelphia Mint, the 1895 comes well struck, with nice luster.
