Owner's Comments
Boldly lustrous orange-gold with much prooflike reflectivity in the protected design areas. A very nice Carson City gold coin. Purchased from Kagin's at the 2017 CSNS show.

The 1891-CC is the most common Half Eagle from the Carson City Mint. It is also much more common than the lower mintage 1891 but, because of the popularity of Carson City coins, the 1891-CC is generally priced higher. The 1891-CC is available in a wide range of grades and there are many choice and even gem quality uncirculated pieces in existence.PCGS #
