Expert Comments

Proof 1887 Quarters are plentiful, but no more so than those of the previous several years. Cameo Proofs are somewhat scarce, and Deep Cameo examples are essentially nonexistent. The best example is a monster NGC PR68+*CAM from the collection of Eric P. Newman. This coin achieved a new price record of $41,125 for the date.
