1881-S $5 MS62 Certification #48486699, PCGS #8357

Expert Comments

David Akers (1975/88)

This is one of the most common of all Half Eagles and it is easy to obtain in any condition short of superb. (I would like to note here that any U.S. gold coin, no matter how common the date, is difficult to find in superb MS65+ condition.)
