1870 G$1 MS67 Certification #32601846, PCGS #7569

Expert Comments

David Akers (1975/88)

A very scarce coin, quite comparable in rarity to the 1871 even though its mintage is more than 50% greater. A number of superb specimens exist of this date. In fact, most examples of this date that I have seen are not only uncirculated, but are very choice.
