There are at least two different varieties with a repunched date for the 1867/67 Indian Cents. Out of the different varieties, the Type 1 is the strongest and the most popular.
The Type 1 1867/67 Indian Cent is also prominent enough that its considered a major variety in the circulation strike Indian cent series. The repunching on the date for the Type 1 1867/67 Indian cent is strongest towards the north of the 6 and the 7 digits on the date.
There are probably a couple of hundred or so Type 1 1867/67 Indian Cents surviving in all grades combined. In Uncirculated grades, it is very scarce with possibly no more than 50 examples known.
