1865 $1, CAM PR64+ CAM Certification #27577134, PCGS #87008

Owner's Comments

This Civil War piece has the ultimate obverse for a Proof Seated Dollar that is not a black and white cameo. Plus, the quality of this coin is SUPER HIGH END! Deep and glittering mirrors beam unbroken from all over. The mirrors are also crystal clear and have bold reflectivity.. Miss Liberty and the details are thickly frosted and have full strikes. Only 500 were minted. PCGS 17, NGC 21, CAC 9. PCGS has graded only four coins in 64+. As time goes on, that will be difficult to find any Civil War GEM!
