1856 1C Slanted 5, BN MS63BN Certification #12865720, PCGS #1922

The 1856 Slanted 5 Large Cent is easy to distinguish from the Upright 5. The Slanted 5 variety has the 5 digit in an odd forward slanted position. Collectors should be able to differentiate both varieties fairly easy, without the need of magnification. Both varieties seem to be about the same in scarcity, and they both tend to sell for approximately the same price in most grades.
