MADE... This coin was a prior PCGS reject as damaged!!?? Really, I do not see what they were talking about?? Cracked out and resent... Just good honest wear...

Eight varieties comprise the entire mintage of 1830 Dimes. Seven of the varieties have what is known as a "Medium 10C"; the eighth variety (JR-2) has what is known as the "Small 10C." Two overdate varieties (JR-4 and JR-5) are subsets of the Medium 10C's.
The PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census includes over one hundred Mint State Medium 10C's, most of which are MS63 or MS64. The best examples are a PCGS MS67 and a PCGS MS67+.

Here is a tip in determining Medium versus Small 10C varieties: Medium has a "football" shaped 0 in 10C that is the same size as the 1. Small has a round 0 that is smaller than the 1.PCGS #
