The 1822 Quarter Dollar in Proof is an extremely rare item of which only three confirmed examples are known: 1) the PCGS PR67 Eliasberg - Pogue example; 2) the PCGS PR65 Pittman example; and 3) and an NGC PR63 example that appeared in several Heritage sales between 2005 and 2009. The Norweb example has been cited as a fourth example, but that coin turned out to be Prooflike and possibly cleaned.
