The 1820/19 Square Base 2 Half Dollar is one of the more desirable major varieties of this year. The overdate is fairly obvious, with a clear 1 beneath the 2 and a slightly less clear 9 below the 0.
Mint State examples are relatively scarce, with few appearing above MS-62. According to the November 2011 Population Report, PCGS has certified only one Gem example -- a single PCGS MS65.
