Quickfinder Notes: On both the Reverse of 1794 and the Reverse of 1797, the right branch of the wreath terminates in a Double Leaf. The best way to distinguish between the two is to look at the Ribbon Bow. The Reverse of 1794 has the Ribbon Loops starting on a short EXTENSION ABOVE the ribbon Knot. Hence, it has been termed the "High Bow". On the Reverse of 1797, the loops of the ribbon start AT the Ribbon Knot. The graded/no graded populations both of these revese types are almost dead even. Both, however, are much scarcer than the Reverse of 1795, with it's Single Terminal Leaves.PCGS #
