1793 1C Chain, Periods, S-4, BN VG10BN Certification #84126789, PCGS #35444

Owner's Comments

1793 CHAIN CENT - our FIRST REGULAR ISSUE COIN ; Variety S-4 (Period after LIBERTY and after 1793). Purchased by me on 3/29/91 as PCGS holdered (OGH) VG10 #1341.10/5164069 in an OGH . Prior to PCGS the coin had been certified by ANACS as VF20/20 - #E-3807 with "REVERSE RIM DAMAGE**" S-4 and registered to Burton Corn on 10/3/82. PCGS incorrectly gave the coin a PCGS# 1341, which I brought to their attention 4/2017. The coin was regraded without change from VG10 BUT corrected to S-4 Periods ,PCGS #35444 (a variety of 91341). Coin Reholdered PCGS Gold Shield 5/2017. I paid all fees including correction by PCGS for PCGS's initial incorrect variety attribution.
