1723 Crown S-3640 S.S.C. AU50 Certification #83964689, PCGS #616806

Owner's Comments

The Crowns from the reign of George I very well could be the most under-appreciated denomination among collectors of British coins. Finding an example that looks attractive for the grading is a daunting and challenging task. This example was purchased raw and is not without faults, but one has to have standards and expectations based in reality. The surviving population for these crowns add to the challenge. This example which is dated 1723, is among the most available for the series.
